127 / 130 Land Rover Defender

Truck was imported legally 2 years ago. It’s a 1985 with 116K miles. Has the original 3.5 V8 with LT95 4-Speed Transmission with Overdrive. The Land Rover carbs and intake were replaced with a Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb. Front seats were redone with Exmoor retrim kits and new foam. Bulkhead floors had small holes so they were cut out and new galvanized pieces were welded in and painted to match the truck. Door frame bottoms had surface rust and small holes. The door bottoms were cut out and new door channel welded in. Truck has new felt window channels on the doors, new hinges and hardware as well as all new door seals. The rear crossmember was replaced by the previous owner and looks very well done. The front outriggers look to have been patched a while back and although not the best welding job they look solid. The frame is solid as well as the seat boxes. Tires are BFG KM2’s are in brand new condition. Comes with full rear hoop set but no canvas. I know some one with a used canvas for a couple hundred dollars. The truck is not in perfect shape and has minor dings and dents but is in very good shape for a non restored 1985 truck. The fuel gauge does not work. The truck has been running on the warm side so the thermostat, temp sensor and expansion tank cap were replaced. Truck is still running on the warm side so I will be replacing the radiator or have it rodded out to make sure it’s running cooler for the next owner. Excepting offers over $35K.
